Union and Greens will compete for the benefit of the voters | Free press

Recently, the Greens had just left the Union behind, now a survey reports a mutual race. One thing is clear: never in the history of the Federal Republic have the Greens had a better starting position.

Berlin (dpa) – The Union falls significantly short of its expectations in another study. According to a survey by the opinion poll institute Insa, the CDU and CSU would receive 23 percent of the vote for the “Bild” if there were a general election on Sunday.

This puts them on a par with the Greens, who were 23 percent, just like last week. In the week before, Insa had determined 24 percent for the CDU and CSU.

The Union had plummeted in recent weeks, while Greens’ opinion polls rose significantly. In several studies, the ecopart recently achieved even higher scores than the CDU and CSU.

In the survey, the SPD achieved 16 percent (-1), the AfD 12 percent (+1). The FDP and Left maintained their results from the previous week at 12 and 8 percent, respectively.
