The MURO Festival will not have a new edition until July. The event, which was scheduled for May, had to be postponed, but some really incredible street art pieces have already been created.
The youngest was born in Casal dos Machados in Parque das Nações and created by Colectivo Rua. In the play, which lasted about a week and takes up the entire side of a building on Padre Joaquim Alves Correia Street, it presents a collection of “Stickers of the World” with portraits of different cultures and ethnicities. The artists known as Fedor, Oker, The Caver, Third, Contra, and Draw were involved in the creation of this mural.
The 4th edition of the MURO festival, which is scheduled for July 3rd to 11th, will be relocated to Oriente and will have Parque das Nações as its main screen. The starting point of this edition was in 2020, when the British artist D * Face created a huge mural with two huge pairs of eyes next to the Gare do Oriente.
The WALL is organized by the Urban Art Gallery (GAU) of the Lisbon City Council in collaboration with the Parque das Nações Municipal Council.
