The first 19 artists in the debut edition of the Sónar Lisboa Festival. confirmed
There are Thundercat, IAMDDB, The Blaze, Charlotte de Witte, Floating Points, Pongo and Niggafox.

Founded in Barcelona, Spain in 1994 – and after spending it in cities like London, Tokyo, São Paulo or Buenos Aires – the mythical Sónar Festival is coming to Lisbon next year. It will take place from April 8-10, 2022. This Wednesday, October 27th, the first 19 names of the poster were announced.
The list includes Thundercat, IAMDDB, The Blaze (in DJ set format), Charlotte de Witte, and the Floating Points. Pongo, Niggafox, Pollo & Pan, Nicola Cruz, Eu.Clides, Nídia, Enchufada na Zona, Stingray 313, Jayda G, Fjaak, Kampire, Héctor Oaks and Ellen Alien with Dr. Rubinstein. “Many more” will be announced soon, the organization promises.
The event takes place in various locations in the city, including the Coliseu dos Recreios, the Carlos Lopes Pavilion, the CCL Pavilhão do Rio, the Factory Lisbon (in the Beato Creative Hub) and the so-called Sónar Village, a place created from scratch a car park in the area of Cais do Sodré, next to the Tagus, “which will have performances during the day,” says the organization.
The 500 early bird tickets, which are offered at a reduced price, were sold out in just 48 hours. Since then it has been possible to buy the general pass for € 110. In addition to the concerts, there will be a multi-day program with digital art exhibitions and discussions on sustainability. In the evening there will also be “audiovisual experiences”.
