Premiere of a documentary about Maradona on Portuguese television
“Diego Maradona” is a film that focuses on the soccer player, but also on the man outside the field.
The former soccer player died at the age of 60.
Diego Armando Maradona, one of the best footballers of all time, died this Wednesday, November 25th, at the age of 60, victim of cardiopulmonary arrest. Now is the time to honor and celebrate the life of this world icon.
For this reason, the documentary “Diego Maradona” will be premiered on Portuguese television. It will be broadcast on TVCine Top on Saturday, November 28th from 2.15 p.m. Repeat this on Sunday the 29th at 11:30 p.m. in the TVCine Edition.
An HBO production under the direction of the award-winning director Asif Kapadia shows us in this film an impressive collection of images that the player has never seen before, accompanied by testimonies from those who lived closely with him, as was the case with Pelé or the Argentine coach Jorge Burruchaga is the case.
The documentary shows us Maradona Ass and Maradona from the field, inimitable, with an emphasis on the 1980s when he ruled football, but also the historic moment for Naples, “when the poorest city in Italy bought the most expensive player in the world”. And a passion that is still remembered was born on the stadium benches.
