Kabul (AP) – A car bomb explosion killed at least 14 soldiers in eastern Afghanistan. Four others were injured in the attack in Nangarhar province on Saturday morning, Adschmal Omar provincial council said.

The suicide bomber who was driving the car targeted a military base in the district. Local security groups have since confirmed a bomb attack on the base, without providing further details.
