93 police officers were injured Saturday in protests against Israel’s actions in the Gaza conflict. About 900 emergency services were present.

Berlin (AP) – 93 police officers were injured in the pro-Palestinian demonstration in Berlin-Neukölln on Saturday.

As the Berlin police announced, a total of 59 people were arrested – including for serious violations of the peace, dangerous bodily harm, assaults on law enforcement officers and the release of prisoners. Another 150 people were identified and reported.

The four announced demonstrations against Israel’s actions in the Gaza war involved a total of about 900 troops. Violence had been committed on Sonnenallee after police declared that the meeting had been dissolved for violating Corona’s hygiene rules. Protesters opposed and threw stones, bottles and fireworks at the police, the officers used pepper spray.
